A hacienda is the organization system established from
of the European conquest in the American continent. It is considered
as one of the most influential governing institutions in the
economic, political and social scope from the second half of the sixteenth century,
until the 20th century. His character as private property, promoted production
of agricultural inputs and commercial conditioning. Their
main purpose was to ensure the subsistence of peninsular, by
means of an agricultural and livestock exploitation. Feudalism as
administrative system, promoted social hierarchy, positioning
and ascent of colonial elites.

The haciendas also served as the point of cultural convergence between the indigenous and European due to the requirement of hand of construction site.
